Visit data & privacy
nacasnetwork collects page visit records to operate the site and understand connection activity.
What we store
We store public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses when available, visit time, connection type, IP-based location, network operator and ASN in Cloudflare D1. Records also include the additional fields numbered 7–30 on the lookup page: location details; browser, operating system and device; language and device time zone; screen and viewport size; pixel ratio; page URL, URL parameters and referrer; HTTP and TLS details, Cloudflare data center and round-trip time. Administrators may add a memo. Cloudflare metadata is based on the logging request. Browser-reported values are not independently verified.
Collection and retention
After the initial address lookup, the browser reports the available addresses and browser details once, and the server appends one record. No visit ID or update token is generated. The Refresh button, language changes and window resizing do not update a saved visit; reloading the page creates a new visit. Records may be missing if JavaScript is disabled, you leave the page, a request is rate-limited or storage fails. Older records do not contain fields introduced later.
Records are retained until the operator deletes them, without an automatic expiry period. Authorized administrators can view records through Cloudflare D1 or the Cloudflare Access-protected admin page. Other visitors cannot view them through a public API.
Connection lookups
We first show the IP observed on this site. To check a missing address type, your browser connects directly to Cloudflare diagnostics at 1.1.1.1 or 2606:4700:4700::1111 using /cdn-cgi/trace. Both are queried if the site lookup fails. These connections disclose the respective IP addresses to Cloudflare. The additional address is sent to this site for storage with the visit. Missing addresses are left empty and are not added to the same record later. A failed lookup displays Not Connected. Location, network and ASN come from this site’s /api/me, not the diagnostic response. Diagnostic connections may use a different network path.
Additional display information
The additional fields are displayed on the page and saved with new visit records. Browser and screen values reflect the time of the initial report. Missing fields remain empty. Authorized administrators can choose which fields to display, delete selected records and edit memos. No GPS permission is requested.
Language preference and browser storage
English is the default language. If you select a language, only that preference (en or ko) is saved in this browser’s local storage. IP addresses, visit IDs and visit records are not saved there. The public lookup does not use tracking cookies or request GPS access. Administrator login uses Cloudflare Access authentication cookies.
Cloudflare network processing and its own logging are separate. Storage failures or usage limits may cause some visit records to be missing.
